What is the difference between the digiscribble and the pcscribble?
Apart from the physical appearance of the receiver units, the only difference is the digiscribble will capture your notes in its flash memory without being connected to you PC or notebook, so you do not need to be near your PC or carry your notebook with you. The pcscribble needs to be connected to your pc or notebook as it does not have any flash memory.
Can you use the pens as a mouse with Windows XP & Windows Vista?

Who would benefit from the scribble products?
Anyone who would like to save time typing up notes, back up there handwritten notes to HD or CD and recycle their notepads and daybooks, handwrite directly into Microsoft applications like Outlook, Messenger, Journal and OneNote 2007, use the pen as a mouse
How does the technology work?
The pen is transmitting your hand movements to the receiver located in the base unit. The application than translates these movements to digital signals that captures your handwriting on the screen.
Which paper size does the product supports & can I write on any paper?
digiscribble & pcscribble support paper sizes up to A4. Both products require no special paper. You can write on any readily available paper, and have both, hard copy and computer image of the written material.
How Many pages will the digiscribble’s memory hold?
50 pages of full A4 text
Can the scribble digital pens capture languages other than English?
Yes. In fact, the technology is language independent. The writer can write in any language and can enter any image (including drawings). All written materials will be recorded.
Can the scribble digital pens convert languages other than English?
Yes. In fact, 15 languages are currently supported: English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish & Chinese (Simplified & Traditional)
What kind of ink refill is inside the pen? Can I replace it? Where can I get it?
A usual refill (67.2mm long X 2.33mm diameter) with nickel platted tube; you can replace the refill using the "refill remover" in at the end of the pen lid. They can be bought in most stationary stores or online.
How is the digital pen powered?
The digital pen is powered by 2 x SR41 watch batteries.
How long can do the pen batteries last?
The duration is 50 hours of continues operation. Taking into account an average of 1 hour writing per day, batteries need to be replaced once every six (3) months. Battery type SR-41 watch batteries available from jewellers and large stores. When your pen batteries are low, a dialog will popup telling you to replace them.
How is the digiscribble memory unit charged?
The memory unit is charged via the USB 2.0 cable supplied.
Which operating system do the scribble products support?
Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista
What is the warranty on the products?
2 (two) Year Return to Manufacturer on both digiscribble and pcscribble products.
Are the products RoHS Compliant?
Yes both products are RoHS & CE certified.
